Lady Livingstone Sunset Cruise

The Lady Livingstone which is also known as “The Jewel of the Zambezi” has a total capacity of 144 passengers.

Guests on this sunset cruise are met at their respective hotels and safari lodges and are then transferred to the David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa, Zambia.

This unforgettable sundowner cruise takes place along the river of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia. The cruise time is approximately 2 hours. During the cruise, guests have the opportunity to observe crocodiles as well as hippos while the colourful and rich birdlife can also be admired.

Other wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and buck and also be encountered. Experienced guides accompany each Sunset Cruise on the Lady Livingstone who happily shares his/her knowledge on the wildlife and the local history.

Warm as well as cold snacks are available on board of “The Jewel of the Zambezi” during the Sunset Cruise and the bar is well stocked. The pickup times are 4h00pm/16h00 in summer (August to April) and 3h30pm/15h30 in winter (May to July).

The Lady Livingstone is an upmarket river cruiser and has been designed to make sure that guests want for nothing while they are on board.
It has a capacity of 144 passengers spread over three decks. You can hire the cruiser for private functions or if you like just one of the decks.

The lower deck has a capacity of 74 passengers.
You can accommodate 50 people on the middle deck for a cruise along the river and the upper deck is an exclusive area which can easily hold 20 people for a cruise in private in luxury
